PRESS RELEASE – ITALIAN RIGHTS DEAL FOR RAMSEY CAMPBELL’S THE HOUSE ON NAZARETH HILL John Jarrold has sold Italian rights in horror novel THE HOUSE ON NAZARETH HILL by Ramsey Campbell to Alessandro Manzetti at Independent Legions Publishing. They will publish in the second half of 2016. Amy Priestly has always dreaded "the spider house," as she privately calls the abandoned Nazareth Hill monastery. When she and her father, Oswald, move into an apartment in the newly gentrified "Nazarill," her fears are reinforced by the building's gloom: crawly things seem to crouch in its shadowy hallways. Worse, her father is becoming increasingly tyrannical. Ramsey deftly balances hints of the supernatural with displays of Oswald's psychological malaise before letting all hell rip loose. With consummate skill, he gives this tale of the past's stranglehold upon the present the thick and suffocating texture of an inescapable nightmare. Over his illustrious career, Ramsey has received outstanding reviews: "Good horror writers are quite rare, and Campbell is better than just good" (Stephen King) "Easily the best horror writer working in Britain today" (Time Out) “Considered by scholars and writers of horror alike as the top voice in the field at present” (Los Angeles Review of Books) He has won innumerable awards and is the only living horror writer to appear in the Oxford Companion to English Literature. He was awarded an Honorary Fellowship of Liverpool John Moores University in 2015. John Jarrold Agency 28th August 2015

Complimenti vivissimi: Campbell è un autore da pubblicare e ripubblicare. Un paio di copie almeno si possono considerare già vendute :)
