We're pleased to announce the relase, in June 2019, of COYOTE RAGE, the new novel by Bram Stoker Award Winning author Owl Goingback, the first book in a horror/dark fantasy trilogy featuring shape-shifters. Also, in November 2018 we'll publish a new edition (kindle and paperback) of his collection TRIBAL SCREAMS (2016, originally published in limited edition), containing tales of dark fantasy and horror that originally appeared in various anthologies. The collection includes the stories: "Tacachale" (1992); “Last Man in Line” (1996); “Animal Sounds” (1994); “The Bride” (1995); “Spoils of War” (1993, author's very first published horror story); “Gator Bait” (1994); “Ashes” (2003); “Keeper of Souls” (1995); “Sealed with a Kiss” (1994); “My Favorite Halloween Memory” (2000); “Grass Dancer” (1995, a Nebula Award Nominee for best short story of the year). Many of the stories in this collection draw heavily upon the Native American Heritage. About the Author: Having served as a jet engine mechanic in the Air Force, and the former owner of a restaurant and lounge, Owl Goingback became a full time writer in 1987. He has written numerous novels, children’s books, short stories, and magazine articles. His novel 'Crota' won the 1996 Bram Stoker Award for Best First Novel, and was one of four finalists in the Best Novel category.
Owl’s novel 'Shaman Moon' (1997) was published by White Wolf Publishing as part of the omnibus edition The Essential World of Darkness. The book draws on his Native American heritage to tell a story of supernatural suspense, as do his other novels 'Darker than Night' (1999, Bram Stoker Award nominee for Best Novel) and 'Evil Whispers' (2001). 'Breed' (2002) it's his latest novel. Goingback’s shorter works of fiction have appeared in numerous anthologies, including Tales from the Great Turtle, Confederacy of the Dead, Phantoms of the Night, Excalibur, The Book of Kings, When Will You Rage?, Once Upon a Midnight, Quest to Riverworld, Grails: Visitations of the Night, and South from Midnight. His story “Grass Dancer” was a Nebula Award Nominee for best short story of the year.
